Its official. The Parade Committee has just received confirmation from the 127 Air Wing of the Air National Guard based in Selfridge Michigan (formerly based in Fort Custer, Battle Creek) that they will again be participating in this year's Richland Independence Day Parade. So keep your eyes to the skies on July 4th to witness a formation of A-10 Thunderbolts (or Warthogs, as their known) fly over Richland and help us celebrate our nation's birthday! One more reason not to miss this year's Richland Independence Day Parade, July 4th, starting at 11 am.

You do not need to pre-register for the parade. All you need to do to register your entry is to get a copy of the Registration Packet, read it, fill it out, and bring it with you the day of parade. There are several ways you can get a copy of the Richland Area Independence Day Parade Registration Packet. The easiest way is to download it by clicking here (download Registration Packet).

It's not a parade without a marching band, and we've got the best! Once again The Gull Lake High School Marching Band will be leading our Independence Day Parade. The Parade Committee wants to give a big thanks to all of the musicians who will be marching on the 4th, and to their director Floy Latham for making this possible. You don't want miss it! So make sure you're along the parade route in Richland by 11 am on Saturday July 4th.

The Richland Independence Day Parade Committee is pleased and honored to announce this year's Grand Marshals: Roxanne & Roger Cornelius. After ten years of organizing the Lindsay's Run, last year's event was the final run.
