You don’t have to live in Richland to participate.  If you are thinking of introducing it to the kids – the student pass ($12) includes two FREE ski/snowboard lessons – GREAT value!!!!  The tickets pay for themselves the first time you go!!!! It cuts the price of a lift ticket in half for adults and more than that for students!!!! This is NOT a fundraiser – just passing on the opportunity to you!  Please call me if you have any questions or comments! Thanks!!! Forms are due by ASAP!  However, I can get cards during the entire season, its just best value to get them ASAP!!! Remember to pass it on to anyone you know and have them contact me!!! It’s a great way to ski and Bittersweet has great slopes, lifts, and a bar with a fireplace!!!

Local Sales and Swap Meets: 

Timber Ridge is having a swap meet:
November 6^th (3 to 9)  7^th (10 to 6) & 8^th (12 to 4) Great used gear at cheap prices! 

Bittersweet is also having a ski patrol ski swap – that means all proceeds go back to ski patrol to buy more equipment.  Great gear, new and used at cheap prices!November 13^th from 3pm to 9pm and 14^th from 9am to 8pm at Wings Stadium.  If you want to get rid of your old gear – drop off is Thursday November 12^th.  From 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. I would like to take a moment to highlight a new Welcome to Richland sign project currently in the planning stages by RC Nethery, a Gull Lake High School student who chose this project to benefit the community and to earn his Eagle Scout designation. He has been working over the past 3 months with Rotary Club, Community Volunteers, Boy Schools, Girl Scouts, 4-H, and Richland Area Business Association (RABA) to raise the $6,900 required to fund the project.

The results of RABA's election for the 2009 Officers were announced at the November meeting.
